Kevin Slack MA(RCA) BSc(Arch) BA(Hons)(Int.Des) FRSA RIBA

Director

Kevin – both a Chartered Architect and qualified Interior Designer – has been committed to sustainable design for three decades. In 1993 he won a Distinction from the Royal College of Art for his MA studies in ecological architecture, qualifying the following year as the Professional Practice Honours graduate at the Architectural Association. In 1998he became a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts for his work in sustainable design and art &architecture. He is also a member of the Zero Carbon Shropshire, Buildings Group - an organisation committed to helping the County become zero carbon by 2030.

Kevin both leads the practice and leads on a number of the projects, undertaking a significant amount of R&D into evolving modern methods of construction, renewable energy and building physics – the latter key to the Retrofit challenge. Kevin is particularly interested in larger-scale housing projects, and recently led the submission that saw the practice shortlisted for the prestigious William Sutton Prize for Sustainability & Placemaking 2021 with a proposed masterplan for The Stanmore Garden Community on 75ha of land east of Bridgnorth in Shropshire.
