This project carefully organises a 32 house development around the challenging ecological site constraints and has been exciting to understand and to interpret through the use of topographic and tree surveys. These were key in allowing us to fully comprehend the various level changes, the flow of the site and the most efficient way to work with the trees and river.

From the beginning of our design process we aimed to not detract from the site and only enhance the natural environment with our proposals we think that the development should not be a burden to the landscape which is why it is so important to appraise the site from as many perspectives as possible.
