Manor Farm is a substantial country house which is currently in planning. This proposal is to replace an existing dwelling on the site and looks to respond to the immediate and far reaching landscape.
The house wraps around an internal/external courtyard with a large sliding rooflight which provides shelter all year round whilst the flat green roofs embed the house into the site and large areas of glazing provide views out in each direction.
The house is approached via a new country drive which passes over a reinstated pond to a large forecourt area giving a sense of grandeur to the arrival.
