This project sees the restoration of a former engine house, Grade II listed and in a state of disrepair. Our clients are seeking to create a fantastic piece of residential architecture which complements and sympathises with the existing derelict structures. All of the existing openings save for the door to the old boiler house have been blocked up, and ivy and trees are growing on the structure. We believe a considered approach to the conversion of the engine house to a private dwelling will provide the best possible chance for the protection of the structure for years to come.
